After winning our local league, our girls team went to the ‘Champions League’, this is where we faced all the other winners of the local leagues. The format of this competition involved five teams, every team played each other once.
We drew the first game 0-0 and then went on to win the remaining games 1-0, 1-0 and 2-0. We kept it very tight in defence and showed the right creativity going forward with some clinical finishing.
A remarkable achievement and we are very proud of all the girls! A fantastic way for this teams chapter to close before they head to secondary school.
