Maple Class have been learning that understanding a method for division is different to understanding what actually happens when you divide. They’ve been partitioning, then sharing by the divisor. I like the range of approaches that the children used – they enjoyed seeing the calculation in a different way (and enjoyed writing all over the tables!)
We got to write on the table! It was super fun!
