Year 5 K’Nex Challenge

Today Year 5 took part in a borough wide K’Nex challenge.

The brief was to make a model of a windmill. It had to be at least 30cm tall, have 4 sails, have a handle to turn the sails if there was no wind and access for the baker to enter the mill.

There were some amazing ideas and the children worked incredibly in their pairs.

I would like to say a huge ‘Thank you’ to Mrs. Batchelor who volunteered her time to work with STEM and deliver this wonderful engineering opportunity for our children.
