It was a pleasure to welcome and celebrate the successes and failures of Tom Haffield’s swimming career organised by Miss Sedgwick and Ms Polak of Hertfordshire University.
My two biggest take homes from his talk:
- Even though he missed out on an Olympic medal, he knows he tried his best…
- Because of this, he has no regrets and can look back with pride at all of his achievements.
