Y6: Introduction to HTML

Y6 will be learning the basics of using HTML code over the next few weeks. HTML is a language that computer programmers use to design how a website appears.

We’ll be using this website to guide us – Mr Flint will give you the relevant class code at the start of the lesson.

 

Later this term, you’ll be able to try and apply what you have learnt on your blog page. Feel free to try this in your own time by switching your page/post editor from ‘visual’ to ‘text’ – ask me if you can’t see how to do it, or take a look at this page.

  1. I’m glad you enjoyed it, Mo & Zuhair. Many of the apps you use will have been built using html – I hope it’s interesting to see how it all works, albeit at a basic level.
