Various classes across the year groups have been using MS Paint to create wrapping paper. Many of the skills required are transferrable to other software/apps so there is real value to the learning. The children have been using their fine motor skills to select, copy [ctrl c], and paste [ctrl v] to create their repeated patterns. The end results will, hopefully, end up under the Christmas tree, wrapped around a present!
