HOW CAN GOD BE DESCRIBED?
Think about some of the pet names you may have been given which describe something about you e.g. rascal, sweetie etc. These names may be given to you because of the things you do.
What is God like? (Eg some stories reveal an angry God, a forgiving God and a loving God. Where do our ideas about God come from? For example, stories, prayers, Collective Worship, family influences and experience of a religious community.)
Muslims have `99 Beautiful Names’ for Allah. We’ll discuss the meanings of some of these, ie “Creator” “Forgiver”
We’ll be creating artwork based around the names of God & Allah. How could we do this?
