Over the last couple of weeks, we have been learning about algorithms. Our next step is to write codes that computers can understand – this is called a ‘program’.
We will start off by practising the following keyboard shortcuts using MS Word:
ctrl c = copy ctrl x = cut ctrl v = paste
These will prove really useful later on.
We’re going to use this site to help us learn. We’re going to need to refresh our knowledge of angles in shapes before we start as this information is key.
In our first lesson we will just practise the basics on Level 1; learning how to move the turtle around the box, making shapes. We’ll move onto looking at the code that that is producing next time (level 2).
Why not carry on practising at home?
