6R: ‘Barvember’

We’ve been working hard on using ‘bar modelling’ during ‘Barvember’ by White Rose Maths. Bar models allow children (…and adults) to visualise problems and it can be a great method for solving some otherwise tricky problems. Have a look at some of the brilliant maths in the gallery above; a special mention to the group who chose to continue to work during their break time, determined to solve ‘The Daily Challenge’ – they succeeded brilliantly!
