We were, once again, fortunate to welcome Dame Helen Hyde to share her inspirational story; her dedication to supporting others in need and the recognition she received from the queen – we all got to see and touch her DBE medals! I am already seeing the ripples from these assemblies: Mrs Madden has once again excelled herself in knitting three jumpers and crocheting another blanket for the mothers of Rwanda. I look forward to seeing what actions come from these pebbles in the pond – perhaps a new learning theme for a year group…
