We were very lucky to have Mike from the Canal and River Trust visit our school. He lead an assembly on keeping safe near the canal then he told us about bridges. We worked in teams to construct our own bridges.

Great learning fun. It gave me a refresher of different bridges on the canal. I like this topic it’s really fun I’d recommend it as a topic for other schools who live by the canal or are very inquisitive about learning about the canal.
Loved learning about canals . It is a really fun topic to learn about and I think other people would enjoy this activity.
