I was delighted to trial the Hertfordshire STEPs information with parents at our recent Year 5 Transition meeting. The feedback to this trial was overwhelmingly positive with 24/25 feedback forms supporting the process. See the picture above for the overview of feedback. We will consider all comments carefully.
I was also impressed with how many parents already had some awareness of the approach from their own staff training (8) and also recognise a lot more needs to be done to get this simple and positive message in to the community.
With that in mind, we will be holding some parent and child workshops in the future and look forward to welcoming you all to hear what a therapeutic approach to behaviour and learning means.
This sounds brilliant. As parents, we all benefit from learning just like our children!
