In Elm class today we explored the 1940s and 50s.
We looked at original letters, medals, photographs and RAF uniform belonging to Squ.Ldr GR Guest. Mrs Rowland’s grandfather, who survived the war, despite being a Rear Gunner in the Lancaster Bombers. The children had lots of thoughtful questions and observations.
