Year 4 and 5 have been taking part in middle distance running in Athletics this week. The focus has been on pacing yourself during the race and ensuring you have enough energy left to perform a sprint finish! Additionally, becoming conscious of your breathing and the importance of controlling this when running has also been a focus.
We have had some fantastic competiton and the iPad has been used on several occasions to determine the result of some races which were too close to call!
