Our football ‘B-Team’ played Chorleywood B this afternoon in the spring sunshine, coming out as 4-2 winners. The competition was tough but Little Green raced to a 3-0 win at half time with a brace from Ollie and a beautifully worked bit of play between Jack and Alex, with the former dinking the ball into the net at the end of a neat one-two.
Chorleywood started the second half brighter, pulling back two quick goals but it was Alex who sealed the deal by slotting home the Little Green fourth.
The game that was notable for its sportsmanship on both sides – a brilliant advert for schools football. Well done to all the children involved.
