Tasked with flipping a 3:1 ratio into a 1:3 ratio the other way, Rowan took to the outdoors during maths today. We were looking to use objects – both man made and natural – to help with our reasoning. It was great to see some bar models being drawn with chalk too!
We also had a challenging problem involving strawberry and lime sweet numbers too.
Have a look at the original problem in the gallery above and see if you can work out how the children solved it.
This was a lot of fun.
