We took seven footballers to London Colney today to compete in the Watford FC CSE Trust Premier League Schools Competition. Excitingly, it was held at the Watford FC training ground!
The competition was tough but Little Green performed admirably, keeping six clean-sheets in seven games and also notably hitting the post a countless number of times! It wasn’t quite enough to qualify for the semi-final but the team did the school proud.

Perhaps even more admirably, some boys (below) noticed that another team hadn’t left their ‘zone’ how they would have liked to have found it and took it upon themselves to clean up the litter before we headed home. We are very proud of your contribution to the community Little Greeners.
