We’re going round in circles….

On Friday, our Maths lesson was all about circles. The children were challenged to walk around the school and find circular objects. The children then had to measure the circumferences and diameters of these objects using string and rulers.

Once back in the classroom these measurements were used to calculate Pi (3.14), this was calculated by dividing Circumference by Diameter. Some of the measurements were so accurate they were only 0.1 away from the magic number 3.14.
