This a Green Tree Python. Chevay drew this snake for the ‘Evolution’ display in our classroom. She chose this snake in particular because it is her favourite species of snake and they are good examples of how snakes have adapted to their environment. Green Tree Pythons have adapted their vibrant colours and pointed shape to help them resemble vines, whilst they stalk their prey.
I think he is a wonderful addition to our classssssssssssssssssss!!
